Requirements

. All dogs are required to have a Health Certificate dated within 10 days of transport.
. All dogs must be spayed or neutered
. No surgeries 7 days prior to transport
. Please inform us if the dog still has stitches so that they can be monitored
. Current rabies certificates for dogs over 4 months of age
. USDA regulations will not allow us to transport dogs under the age of eight weeks. However, we require each puppy to have a minimum of two sets of shots, so we will not transport under 10 wks of age
. All dogs must have at least three sets of shots given at least 72 hours prior to transport

5- Way Shot
(DA2PPv Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza)

7-Way (Must have if transporting to Maine)
DA2PPvL-Leptospira Bacterin Vaccine

Bordetella

. Must test negative for worms, Coccidia, and Giardia . All dogs and puppies be quarantined for a minimum of two weeks prior to transport(vets, boarding, foster, other quarantined environment)
. We will only administer maintenance medications (seizure, thyroid, etc.)
. All dogs must travel with some form of identification. Collars with a tag are preferable but surgical tape with the dogs name and contact information are acceptable
. Picture of dog or puppy
. Please provide a zip lock bag with the dogs name on it with enough food for three light meals, if in AR provide enough food for 4 light meals. This eliminates the stress involved with the change in diet
. Dogs can be transported with blankets and a toy(must be large enough and durable enough that it cannot be chewed up or swallowed) for added comfort on their trip. If they become soiled they will be bagged and given to the person at the drop off location.
. Absolutely NO pregnant dogs!
. Please let us know if your dog should not be given any treats. We keep biscuits on hand for when they are walked.
