You and your team are like a breath of fresh air in the transport of dogs from the South to New England. Having previously fostered for a New England Lab Rescue, I had taken several dogs to meet different transport companies. I was amazed when I looked in your trailer and saw how light and airy it was. The idea of converting a travel trailer for transporting dogs was brilliant. Having sunlight and fresh air has to make the trip much more comfortable for the dogs in an already stressful situation of being transported so many miles.

We were really worried about Claudia being so shy and were unsure how she would handle the transport. From the reports from our sister rescues in New England, she and all the other dogs we have transported with you, came off transport very happy and social. This had to be from the one on one attention given by your team during the transport stops for eating and exercise. You truly do treat the dogs like family and not cargo.

I am also impressed with you stressing cleanliness and sanitation. I never saw any other transport use disposable gloves, much less disposable aprons. I feel safe that the transfer of any undetected disease would be very unlikely on your transport due to your sanitary operation.

Thank you and the rest of the Port A Pups team for getting our rescued dogs from the mid-south to their forever homes in New England happy, healthy and safely.

You guys...hands down...best transport. The pups were happy. You guys were great!!

The puppies are all doing well. Little Sampson (the blk one) was the one with the spots of blood and luckily the vet didn't find anything. Fecals were done all the pups and nothing came through. He thinks it could be wormer or something else. So far no blood after Mondays visit.

I think you guys did a great job and the only suggestion would be to come to Newburgh :)

I know a lot of people in the south but many are not as conscientious and responsive as you.

Your paperwork is great and Port A Pups is not only impressive, but also affordable, respected by the dept of Ag and very convenient for me.

Our volunteers up north were VERY impressed Stephanie! They said your drivers were extremely nice and attentive and that the dogs and the trailer were absolutely immaculate! Great job!!!!!! We're so psyched about it!

I was also very impressed with the transport. Bright and airy trailer and they seemed to be very attached to her. They had a checklist of everything she had eaten and when she went out and what she did and gave me all the paperwork and a little food. Very friendly. We were a little late and when we pulled in he was standing there holding her! Heather was very nice too.

The transportation agency was also great! Stephanie was terrific and told me how important it is to transport these dogs to the north. I was impressed with how smoothly they brought each dog out and spent time talking with the new owners and going over the records. The puppies and dogs all seemed calm when they came out of the trailer! None of them seemed stressed or needing to go potty. They even took pictures of the puppies and dogs with their new owners! They really seemed to care about the dogs.

To Whom It May Concern, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the job you do. You make so many people so happy, and really seem to care so much for the animals. I have never adopted a rescue from out of the area but with everyone along the road from Tennessee to Connecticut that has helped get my little Jasmine(now Molly) to me I am forever grateful.
